Badger Planes

Badger planes are top escapement rabbet planes, and they excel at finishing wide, deep rabbets, surpassing all metal planes for this function. Badger planes can also be used to make raised panels that are not limited to the fixed profile of a panel raising plane. These are double iron planes, bedded at 50° and skewed at 20°. They have an open tote and are 14 1/2" long. I normally make them with a 2" iron, but 1 3/4" irons are also available. CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE |
